Opera 브라우저 11.10 Alpha Builds 2014 (2011.02.25)

 

 

코드네임 바라쿠다의 두 번째 업데이트인 오페라 브라우저 11.10 알파 빌드 2014의 업데이트가 이루어졌습니다.

이번 버전에서 또한 업데이트 및 개선이 있었습니다만, 가장 큰 업데이트는 스피드 다이얼의 진화 입니다. 기존 07년에 포함된 업데이트에서 스피드 다이얼은 오페라 브라우저에 삽입 되었고, 빠른 시간에 가장 간편하면서도 원초적이나 필요한 기능이 되었습니다. 저 또한 스피드 다이얼 기능을 이용하면서 즐겨찾기를 이용하지 않는 경향이 강해졌습니다. 그럴 정도로 스피드 다이얼은 가장 간편하지만 강력한 효과를 낼 수 있는 오페라의 기능이었습니다.

그런 스피드 다이얼이 이제 변화를 추구합니다. 현재 업데이트 된 바로 오페라 브라우저의 스피드 다이얼이 어떻게 변화하였는지 알 수 있습니다. 아직 개발 진행 중이기 때문에 현재 적용된 스피드 다이얼과는 더 달라질 수 있습니다. 개인적으로 스피드 다이얼을 4/4로 사용하고 있는데, 이번 개선은 조금 불편합니다. 더 좋은 쪽으로 변화하기를 기대 해야겠지요. 가장 눈에 띄는 점은 스피드 다이얼의 숫자x숫자 개념이 사라지고, 늘리는 만큼 스피드 다이얼이 늘어난다는 점입니다.

또한 스피드 다이얼이 기존에서는 스크롤이 되지 않았지만, 이제는 스크롤이 되도록 변경 되어 스피드 다이얼에서 좀 더 포괄적인 링크를 추가할 수 있게 되었습니다. 그러나 이 점에서 불편한 점도 눈에 띕니다. 스크롤의 감도가 너무 낮아서 팍팍한 느낌이 들고, 한 페이지에서 다 나오던 링크가 밑으로 내려야 하는 문제도 있어서, 이 부분에서는 호불호가 갈릴 것 같습니다. 개인적으로는 쓸 수는 있지만 그래도 전 작보다는 불편합니다. 앞으로의 개선을 기대합니다.
